How ChopperExchange Works


Buyers

  1. Search motorcycles for sale all over the United States and Canada.
  2. Contact the seller of any motorcycle directly via direct message or telephone.
  3. Negotiate the terms of purchase with the seller.
  4. ChopperExchange doesn't collect commission. You're free to finance the deal anyway you'd like.
  5. To protect your interest in the deal, we highly recommend you execute the deal in person or use an escrow service. You should also review our online shopping protection tips.
  6. If you are not able to go see the motorcycle in person, you can hire a shipping company to pick up and deliver it to you.
  7. Pay for the motorcycle. Register it in your state. Enjoy riding it.

Private Sellers

  1. List pre-owned American motorcycles for sale.
  2. Receive buyer inquiries via direct messages, email and telephone.
  3. Negotiate the terms of sale with the interested buyer.
  4. ChopperExchange doesn't collect commission and is not involved in the financial aspect of the deal.
  5. To protect your interest in the deal, we highly recommend that you do the deal in person or use an escrow service. You should also review our online shopping protection tips.
  6. If the buyer is not able to see the motorcycle in person, they can hire a shipping company to pick up and deliver it to them. The buyer usually pays the cost of shipping, but you can offer to split it to sweeten the deal. It's your call.
  7. Accept payment from the buyer. Transfer the title. Mark the motorcycle sold on ChopperExchange.
  8. Start looking for your next motorcycle.

Dealers

  1. Sign up for a dealer account, and automatically list (via inventory feed) all of your new and pre-owned American motorcycles for sale.
  2. Receive buyer inquiries via direct messages, email, CRM software and telephone.
  3. Negotiate the terms of sale with the interested buyer.
  4. ChopperExchange doesn't collect commission and is not involved in the financial aspect of the deal.
  5. Follow your dealership's rules and procedures for online motorcycle purchases.
  6. Mark the motorcycle sold on your website and it will automatically be removed from ChopperExchange. Bikes sold are automatically removed according to your inventory feed.
