This new S2 Del Mar is the cousin to the “Mulholland” version of the same type and is an amazing Street/Off-Road EV powered bike. City riding its range is marked at 110 Miles. Enough to use for your daily commute and easily charged on any 110V outlet. The 89HP might not sound high but on the 430Lbs bike it equals the Power Weight ratio of a Corvette C08. 3sec Zero to 60. Car and Driver Magazine called the Sport mode in their test ride “Street Hooligan” mode.

The bike had a spill and the right side mirror needs to be replaced. On the rear leading edge by the seat you can make out scruff marks on the body. The right side riders foot rest has scrapes and a slight bed. Easy replacement! The rear tail light section was moved with a custom made bracket by JC Designs in CA, moved to under the seat giving this bike a clean and mean look that the manufacturer probably wanted but DOT did not allow them.

Issues: Mileage on the title was marked at 41,500 (obviously wrong), due to the bike not powering up during the Repo, so the Repo guys have to make up a number. The actual mileage is 262 as you can see by the tires and clearly the bike itself. Since the mileage is stored in the computer there is no doubt that this indeed is the mileage but the title still has to be marked as “not Actual Mileage”, therefore the price discount

Livewire is hard to describe to die-hard Harley guys. It is fast, it is agile, it actually corners at 40+ degrees through corners, it is quiet and your neighbors will talk to you again. It is a fully engineered bike with every safety feature a rider can want, from different power modes to interactive display and power up the wazzu. Did I mention power? 89HP might not impress you much until you twist that throttle.

The ”green” aspect is a nice plus but really the incredible torque of an electric motor is what impresses. You will be outrunning your neighbor on his Fat Boy, guaranteed.

S2 Del Mar is not equipped to handle DC Fast Charging yet you can get a full charge in 8hours in your garage and the 20% to 80% charge in 1 ½ hours. Not shabby for a get around town killer!
