After riding on the back of my 2011 V-Rod Muscle, and watching custom chopper shows on TV, my wife decided she wanted her own motorcycle. I had been enjoying my V-Rod so much, and it performed so well that I really wanted her to get a V-Rod instead of what may not be as quality of a motorcycle. I played the episode of "Ultimate Factories" that features the Harley-Davidson Indiana location and the 2006 V-Rod Screamin' Eagle build process was the focus of the show. That sold her on the VRSC-SE2 in yellow, but now I had to find the best one I could in 2012. Well, I believe I found THE best example of what she wanted when I was put in touch through the V-Rod forum with a lady in Jacksonville, Florida who bought the 2006 V-Rod we now have up for sale. It only had 1,350 miles on it and she bought it brand new. I rode it back to Louisiana from Florida, and then we brought it to New Orleans Harley Davidson to have the BEST 5 gallon gas tank installed, billet aluminum adjustable clutch and brake levers, reduced reach footpegs and seat. The seat was further modified by a local shop to push the rider further forward. My wife is only 4' 11" so that is why we made the mods. I'm 6'3" and I can still take it on short rides, and the seat and footpegs can be modified or changed out. The levers are adjustable, so no need to change them. It has the Screamin' Eagle high performance muffler, you know, the one that years ago was selling for over $1,000. It has a scratch in the chrome on the edge at the back that can likely be repaired. The engine and everything else is factory stock, it comes with the factory alarm system, 2 key fobs w/pushbutton alarm setting, and the Gold Key that was part of the Screamin Eagle V-Rod package. With only 10,000 and a couple of miles, I believe this is a rare opportunity to buy one of the best machines Harley Davidson has EVER made!
