One of a kind 100th Anniversary FLHRCI (Road King Classic) that has been radically customized and lowered. The bike has done VERY well in bike shows and has been used as a calendar bike etc.
Paint/Frame:
The bike frame has been powder coated in purple flake. The tins have been painted by "TUKI" in purple, gold and red flakes and candies and trimmed in real gold leaf. the designs are pulled lines and pulled flames. Has won Best in Show and Best Paint numerous times.
Modifications:
The tank has been dished on both sides using body hammers vs. the cut and flip method. More time consuming but the finished product is superior and no leaks. The side panels have been smoothed. The rear fender is a FLH fender that has been split, shortened and shaped to add a "flip" in the end to mirror a Schwinn Sting Ray and then chromed. Holes have also been punched in the fender for a lightening effect. This is a "Bobber" so there is no front fender. Instead a fender brace (hoop) was made using the same lightening hole effect and then chromed. The brace really tightens up the front end. The Speedo console is also hand made and chromed. It is shorter than on an original FLH. I did this so more of the paint effect could be shown but this required the main wiring harness to be routed partially through the frame. A much cleaner look. The bike shifts like a normal FLH but also has a suicide shifter made out of a Hurst shifter that was modified to fit and then re-chromed. I use the shifter for stop lights and parking. All you have to do is reach down at a light and slap it into neutral allowing both feet on the ground (I built it out of necessity because I have a bad knee-but now everyone wants one because it is cool) The bike has been lowered using Progressive front lowering springs and rear shocks. The bike rides very tight.
Accessories:
The bike is loaded with chrome parts. The grips, pegs, horn cover, linkage, brake arm and footboards are all Battistini. It carries on the drilled look (note from the pictures the bars have been anodized in purple under the grips (seen through the holes-its in the details) The front forks have Arlen Ness covers. The lowers have been chromed along with the brakes etc. All lines,cables and plug wires are braided. The Air intake is a Arlen Ness velocity stack. The bars have a 16" rise. Roland Sands side plate mount and tail light.
Over $4500 in Battistini parts, Ness parts, Roland Sands etc.
Wheels/Tires:
The wheels, rotors and pulley are all matching Weld REDNECK series in chrome. They also have the drilled look that is carried throughout the bike. The tires are AVON Gangsters. They are the widest whitewall tires that were available. They are new and still have the beads on them.
Engine:
This is the original 100th Anniversay Twin Cam 88. There is a HD stage one kit and Power Commander - The bike is mapped. The engine is badged with the 100th Anniversary markings. The engine has not been bored or raced. it runs great and has always been serviced with synthetics in all cases. The pipes are shorties that have been coated on the inside and has covers from a set of skirt blowers (once on the bike) included with sale. Arlen Ness oil pressure mount w/HD gauge. Pipes: Yes the pipes are blued in the pictures.. To be honest I like them that way because they go from purple to orange and really match the color of the bike. They will clean up nicely if you the "NEW" owner does not like it.
Seat::
The seat is a custom seat made by LePera in a white vinyl flake. The rider and passenger areas also have gel inserts.
I could easily go on forever about the bike. I built the bike to show and ride (for myself) so I did not build it on the cheap. I am currently working on other projects so I have decided to let the bike go to the right buyer. I will also include along with the sale many extra parts. To include: A set of flamethrower (Screaming Eagle) pipes with matching braided lines. 2-sets of exhaust as well as many other parts.
I will work with the right buyer on shipping / crating etc.
**BIKE IS STILL AVAILABLE** LOCAL BUYER COULD NOT RAISE $$$ I am open to offers. You never know ? Asking $17,999 OBO (worth it)
