1999 HARLEY-DAVIDSON LOW RIDER CUSTOM

This pro-street inspired custom Harley employs a unique design with significant upgrades of strictly the best components (and service) available on the market.

This bike is very fast with a clean and smooth look, feel and ride. Although easy on the eyes, this is not a show bike. The design and component selection was carefully selected by riders for riders at one of Harley-Davidson’s finest dealerships in the country.

BACKGROUND

Its original (and only) owner purchased this motorcycle as a stock Harley-Davidson TC-88 FXDL (Dyna Low Rider). After following the factory’s specified break-in period, the motorcycle was taken to Illinois Harley-Davidson in Berwyn, Illinois for customization.

The first phase was primarily aimed at upgrading key components towards improving overall performance, handling and appearance using among the best available OEM products in the industry. This included wholesale changes to the front forks, triple trees, handlebars, swing arm, pulley, wheels, tires, brake systems, exhaust, gas tank, fuel petcock, seat, rear suspension, forward controls, mirrors, lighting, inner primary, and paint.

Phase two was geared towards improving overall torque, power and speed through wholesale upgrades to the engine and fuel systems. This included a power plant upgrade to 95 cu. in., and upgrades to high-compression pistons, high-performance cams and ignition system, and high-flow carburetion.

100% of all work on this motorcycle was performed by certified mechanics employed at Illinois Harley-Davidson.
