The 1990 Harley Davidson FXRS-CONV was designed to offer a bike that could easily be made into a sport bike,a sport touring bike,or a touring bike. This was accomplished by the use of quick disconnecting saddlebags and windshield.

The FXRS-CONV uses the 1340 Evolution engine. The engine is mounted in rubber to make for a very smooth ride.

The transmission is a 5 speed.

The front suspension is an air ride. There is an air valve in the left grip that you use to add or remove air from the front forks.

The front brakes are dual disc for plenty of whoa. The rear brakes are single disc.

The paint on this bike is custom. the color I describe as burnt orange is actually the Ford color from 1997. The inlay on tank and fenders is a copper color. The paint is in excellent condition. There is only one small chip, not dent,in the right side of tank. This was caused by some idiot weedwacking as I rode by.

As far as accessories I have on this bike. They would include a Hyper Charger air cleaner,an engine guard (not currently on the bike),a sissy bar and luggage rack. It has Screaming Eagle exhaust which is not too loud, but the neighbors will know when you come and go.

I have three different seats for this bike. You can have all three or choose any one. The smooth one I have on currently has a Butt Buffer insert in it.

I have owned this bike for the past 9 years. I have always maintained it. It got the engine oil changed every 2000 miles, the primary oil at least once every riding season, and the trans oil every year.

The transmission was rebuilt and all new bearings were installed and any gears that were bad were replaced.

The engine has never had the bottom end torn down. The cylinders were removed several times to cure the standard base oil

leak. I had the cylinders machined and the "pigtails" installed to put an end to this leaking problem. Twice while I had the cylinders off I replaced the piston rings.

The heads were checked, but never needed repairs. Why mess with what works.

The brakes are in good condition, the tires are in good condition. Heck everything is in good condition. The only reason I am selling thibike is that I treated myself to a new Super Glide. I tried to keep both bikes satisfied this past riding season, only to realize I can not satisfy two bikes at one time.

I realize this is an older bike with mileage. But do the math and you will find it avearges only 4300 miles a year. This bike has been a delight to own. It rides real smooth. And since it is an early Evo,and still has the better cam timing it

runs super. I actually like the shifting feel on this bike better than on my new bike. And I have maintaned this bike to high standards and have used Harley Davidson parts for all repairs.

If you are looking for a real nice bike that can be anyone of three different bikes with the simple addition or subtraction of a few pieces. Then this is the one for you!

If you don't like the price I am asking for this bike. Please email me with your idea of what I should be charging, you just never know!
