The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.

This is an Anniversary model XL1200 with the 100-year batched Anniversary paint in vivid black. The bike runs excellent and has great paint but there are minor rust spots on some chrome panels. See the walk around video on our website where all flaws are pointed out. The bike makes an excellent rider and with 35K miles it has not yet even seen its best days. Ready for what you got, this bike needs a new rider, someone who will add new stories on this bike. The 1200cc motor is plenty powerful for this relatively light bike.
