The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.

This is the 1200cc version with lots of power and it runs like the wind. Unfortunately, it has been kept outside for a while and has some areas of rust of some of the chrome parts. Nothing structural that would compromise the integrity of the bike, all cosmetic stuff. So if you are looking for a great rider with low miles but don’t care about the look, here is your bike at a steep discount. Lots of life left in her.
