For sale, is a very unique 1992 Harley Davidson Fatboy with only 12,822 miles on her. I inherited this bike from my Father who passed away January, 2023. My father was the only owner of this bike and took EXCELLENT care of her and she is in beautiful condition. She is also a unique bike as she came straight out of production specifically to be featured in the 1993 official Harley Davidson accessory catalog that comes out every year (I have several copies of the catalog featuring the bike – buyer can have a few). After it was photographed for the catalog, it went on its way to Kegel’s Harley Davidson in Rockford, IL to be sold to my father. My father was good friends with the owners of Kegel’s HD so when they found out the bike was coming to their dealership, they phoned my father right away because they knew he would want it. He wrote a check for it right as it was coming off the semi. From what I’m told, this bike came out of production with a completely different factory paint job than all the other Fatboys that year since it was being featured in the HD catalog. I am convinced that is 100% accurate because I cannot find a single 92 Fatboy, or any other year Fatboy for that matter, that has a factory paint job even close to this one anywhere in the world and I have scoured endlessly. My father always spoke about this bike being the 5th one off of the production line and the VIN does end in 00005. I also have maintenance records dating back to the bike’s early years and the paper is yellowed from age. I recently had her fully serviced at my local certified HD dealership (Timms HD in Anderson, SC) and have the records for that as well. She runs beautifully and is ready to hit the road for her new owner! Also comes with an official Harley Davidson new orange/black deluxe cover.
