ChopperExchange.com is an online classifieds website for American V-twin motorcycles, apparel, accessories, and parts. We have been helping motorcycle dealers and private sellers buy and sell motorcycles since 2003. There are more than 130 active motorcycle dealers and 8,000 new and used motorcycles currently for sale on ChopperExchange.com.
We are looking for a full-time Sales Executive for our Downtown St. Petersburg office. This individual will be responsible for selling online advertising dealer accounts to American V-twin motorcycle dealers throughout the United States. All sales are business-to-business (B2B), are conducted via e-mail and telephone, and do not require travel.
The following qualifications are required:
Sales experience. Telephone sales experience is a must. Knowledge of the motorcycle and/or auto industry is a plus.
Professionalism. We are selling services that go beyond “closing the deal.” We are selling trust. The hired individual must have the skills to build professional relationships with dealers.
Moderate computer skills: E-Mail, Microsoft Word, contact management software (CRM), Internet browsers, and Internet search engines.
Oral and written communication skills. The ability to communicate on a professional and industry-appropriate level. Learning and clearly communicating the services we offer is an important aspect of being able to effectively perform in this position.
Eagerness to learn and grow. The ability to learn and adapt “on the fly” is a valuable trait because we operate in a fast-changing environment and adjust our strategies as we move along.
Team player attitude. Entrepreneurial spirit is valued as long as it does not undermine company goals and policies. Ability to effectively share ideas and follow directions is important.
Self-motivation. We are looking for someone who will enjoy his/her job and come in ready to work.
Long-term outlook. We are looking for a long-term Sales professional.
