You are looking at a used, but very clean and well taken care of, 2002 Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider that is 2-Tone Luxury Rich Red and Vivid Black with a Twin-Cam 88 1450cc. Has a mere 5,450 miles and was upgraded to the factory spoke wheels opposed to the stock black mags.
Original owner with clear title and all work, including all scheduled oil changes, were done by dealership. This motorcycle is in superb shape and is very mechanically sound.
Installed are: S&S Carburetor, Vance & Hines Straightshots, Kuryakyn "floating" (no side plates) removable sissy bar bracket with Harley small grab bar with pad and emblem, Harley Narrow Band Collection billet shifter peg/highway pegs/foot pegs/passenger pegs. Harley chrome tank panel and chrome speedo/tach case, chrome French headlight trim ring, slightly curved layback license plate bracket, and front fork bag.
I also have the original CV carburetor take-off, a medium sized sissy bar with pad and Harley emblem, a clip on windshield, a removable luggage rack, chrome new style factory mirrors, chrome switch housings, and the Harley service manual. All of which are not on the bike, but I will sell it with bike. This bike is well maintained with all regular oil changes and was always garaged in a protective air filtered Harley Bubble (which is also included in sale). The Harley Bubble works great but does have a couple small holes in the front (shown in picture). This does not stop the function of the bubble. Clear swimming pool patches is all it needs.
From what I understand, they do not produce this color set anymore, they do not make bikes with carburetors anymore, and they don't even make the Low Rider anymore. It’s a soon to be collector’s item. This is one of the originals that still have the key switch on the right side under the seat by the battery. I believe the newer Dynas have the ignition key up by the front forks.
Fires right up, idles nice, sounds great, and can run hard if asked to. There is some very small paint swirl type marks in the paint on the front fender under the fork back from being pulled in a trailer to Daytona FL and the bag got loose and rubbed on the fender (shown in pictures). Also there is some paint rub just to the left of the ignition key (also shown in the picture) due to a metal keychain I had that flapped in the wind before I noticed it was doing that and quickly changed to a rubber keychain. The sissy bar bracket has some surface yellowing to it. The pips are chrome on the heat shields but has some yellow underneath and on the bottom of the pipes. There are a couple foot marks on the pipes as well, mainly from the passenger feet hitting the pipes while hot which causes the rubber marks. Flitz cream usually can get rid of those. I think that covers all the character marks. If you would like a special picture of an area, please request one.
This Harley was started and rode only once last summer and only once this year so far which is not fair for this bike. The tire tread still looks like new. It needs to go where someone will ride it and enjoy it. It can be lowered even further for shorter persons with a super easy to self-install drop-in kit for around $300 from Burly.
It is the complete responsibility for the buyer to arrange for pickup or shipping as I offer no shipping options. I do not offer any shipping insurance as that will be the buyers responsibility as well.
Since this is an AS-IS no refund sale, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or special requests! I described it to the best of my knowledge so if there is anything beyond my description or pictures you would like, I would be more than happy to accommodate the best I can.
