This 2004 Harley Davidson Softail Standard is anything but standard. This bike has lots of chrome, a nice exhaust system, and a high flow air cleaner. It has low miles for its year. It has always been garaged kept and adult ridden. There is absolutely no rust on this beautiful machine. I would really like to sell this beauty to a fellow biker and not a dealer. Kelly Blue Book trade in value is $8350. This is the value I can expect to get from a dealership. The Kelly Blue Book retail value of this bike is $11375. This is the value that you can expect a dealership to sell this bike for. As you can see there is a huge difference. Dealerships low ball sellers, clean up the bike, add another piece of shiny chrome and then jack the price up. Retail value is also the value that banks use to determine value for financing. Most banks will provide financing if the loan request is lower than what the vehicle is worth. Let’s bypass the middle man and help each other out. Now keep in mind those values are for stock bikes. As I stated earlier this bike is anything but stock. There are over $4,000 worth of extras on this bike. Additionally this is a carbureted model which makes it easier to work on. All custom parts with the exception of the exhaust system are genuine Harley Davidson accessories. The exhaust system is Vance and Hines but was installed by a HD dealership. All service has been preformed at Patriot Harley Davidson in Fairfax, VA. All service has been conducted on time. I have the receipts to show. I also have all stock parts that were removed it you want to start over with your own theme. I also have a ramp for use with pickup truck type hauling and two sets of ratchet straps. If you are in the market for your first Harley, look no further. This was my first Harley and it has served me well. It is in excellent running condition. The ONLY reason I want to sell it is so I can buy a house. I have determined that having a motorcycle is not a necessity in my life right now. But I know there is someone out there dreaming of owning their first Harley like I was a few years ago. I have been offered trade in prices from dealerships but I refuse to let "the man" make a profit off of me. I do not need to sell this bike. I would like to sell it. So I am going to wait for the right person and the right deal. I would be willing to help the potential buyer find ways of applying for financing, if needed. Most banks and credit unions provide same day approvals. I know winter is coming but why not be ready early for next spring. This bike is being stored in a climate controlled garage and the battery is being maintained with a battery tender. The first buyer can fire this bad boy up and ride away……. once the check clears.
