The bike was registered late in 2021 and is just outside of the warranty (10/23). Some of the Indian logos have been blacked out, such as the tank emblem and the luggage emblems to give this bike the stealth black look. The added Engine guard protects from damage when tipping over but is finished in flat black instead of thunder black, an easy fix if you want to make the bike uniform. Small blemishes from using this bike, such as the typical scratches on the top case and a small scratch on the fender. Reflected in the price at $8,000 under trade-in value! Not shown in the walk around video is the chrome 3M trim pieces on the rear fender are showing the usual de-lamination.

New 10in-raised handlebars were installed and give a very nice rider hand position, especially for taller riders. Comes with the rear quick connect sissy-bar. This bike rides very well and feels like it had engine work done. I ride a 2021 Chieftain Dark Horse with the 116 motor and this bike feels very much comparable to that motor. The aftermarket exhaust gives an extra low growl. Rear tire should be replaced soon the front is already replaced.

The bike’s 111ci Thunderstroke motor is a powerhouse that has beaten Harley since 2014. Improved with the rear-cylinder shutoff (you never know it does) it still produces more than the 107 Milwaukee Eight motor. Upgraded air intake and mufflers give even a little more. Features like the 100W radio and power windshield add to the driver enjoyment making this the true choice in Touring bike.

The oldest motorcycle company in the US is not as most people believe Harley Davidson but Indian Motorcycle Company. Founded in 1901 two years before Harley they have been making classic iconic motorcycles for decades. During WWII the company was an essential supplier of motorcycles to the US military and after the war struggled in making the transition back to the civilian market. Their operation came to an end in the early 50s and several operators tried to revive the company unsuccessful until it was bought by Polaris in 2011, who just a few years earlier started the very successful “Victory” brand.
